Our company is looking for motivated self-starting Multi-family Residential Construction Project Managers.
We primarily focus on Exterior Renovation work including exterior painting, wood rot replacement, site grading/drainage improvements, site amenities, and concrete work.
- Must know and understand Exterior & Interior Renovation processes
- Experience working in the Multi-Family Industry is a huge plus!
- Must be able to handle the fast-paced environment that we work in daily.
- We have no time to teach everything so experience and construction knowledge is necessary
- Must have a working knowledge of Computers, Tablets, and Smart Phones. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency is a MUST!
- Must have good communications skills both in person, phone, Email, and written skills
- Must be self-motivated and be able to plan a project.
Responsibilities
- Determine and Define the Scope of Work and Deliverables
- Predict Resources Needed to Complete Project
- Obtain Necessary Permits, Approvals, and Other Regulatory Prerequisites
- Manage Costs to Meet Budget
- Manage Construction Schedule and Activities
- Issue Progress Updates as Needed Regarding Costs and Timelines
- Ensure Work Is Done in Compliance with All Relevant Building and Safety Codes
- Select and Manage Subcontractor and Supplier Relationships
- Coordinating Efforts Across the Entire Project Between Architects, Designers, Engineers, and Subcontractors
- Successfully Pass DMV Record Check
Qualifications
- 1 Year of Experience in Project Management in Construction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and General Computer Software
- Demonstrated Knowledge of Construction, Engineering, and Architecture Principles
- Ability To Budget, Schedule, Negotiate, and Control Costs
- Strong Leadership and Management Skills
