Granite Installation Manager

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Granite Fabrication & Installation Manager to oversee all aspects of granite and quartz product installations. This role is responsible for managing the templating process, coordinating installation crews and subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality execution of projects. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities: 

Project Management & Execution 

  • Oversee the entire installation process of granite and quartz surfaces, from templating to final installation. 
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 
  • Conduct site visits for templating and pre-installation assessments. 
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met. 

Team Leadership & Training 

  • Supervise and manage installation crews and subcontractors. 
  • Provide hands-on training to staff to improve technical skills and installation techniques. 
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
  • Evaluate team performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed. 

Quality Control & Compliance 

  • Ensure all installations meet company standards and client expectations. 
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues promptly and professionally. 

Logistics & Scheduling 

  • Plan and schedule installation jobs efficiently to maximize productivity. 
  • Manage inventory and ensure necessary materials and tools are available for each job. 
  • Communicate scheduling updates and changes to relevant stakeholders. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in granite/quartz fabrication and installation. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software is a plus. 
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed. 

Working Conditions: 

  • Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. 
  • Work may involve exposure to dust, noise, and heavy lifting. 
  • Occasional travel is required; advance notice will be provided.
