Account Manager

Position Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, setting clear expectations, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. This role focuses on business development, project estimation, project site visits and proactive issue resolution to drive successful outcomes for both the client and the company. 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management & Business Development 

  • Develop and manage a strategic account plan with clear performance objectives, financial targets, and growth milestones. 
  • Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison for all client communication, ensuring clarity and consistency. 
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. 
  • Participate in industry and networking events, including Apartment Association activities, to promote company services. 
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasting on new business opportunities. 

Project Estimation & Proposal Development 

  • Independently assess, qualify, and validate client needs through site visits and detailed scope reviews. 
  • Develop accurate scopes of work and cost estimates aligned with company standards. 
  • Prepare, present, and submit proposals, including material submittals and bid packages. 
  • Follow up consistently on submitted opportunities to maximize closing rates. 

        Project Coordination & Execution 

        • Set clear expectations with clients before, during, and after each project. 
        • Collaborate with the Director of Construction and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. 
        • Attend pre-construction and scope review meetings to confirm deliverables, budgets, and timelines. 
        • Monitor project performance alongside production team to ensure work meets client expectations and contractual obligations. 
        • Manage contract terms, mobilization, and financial expectations including accounts receivable and forecasting. 
        • • Proactively identify and resolve client concerns to maintain high satisfaction and repeat business.

        Leadership & Development 

        • Mentor, coach, and develop assigned team members to strengthen performance and alignment with company standards. 
        • Provide timely and constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement. 
        • Maintain knowledge of company systems, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance. 
        • Lead client project closeout meetings and ensure post-project evaluations are completed. 
        • Participate in internal and external events that support business growth and professional development. 

        Other Responsibilities 

        • Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives and client satisfaction.
