Regional Account Manager – Charlotte

Position Summary 

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans across a defined geographic region. This role focuses on expanding regional client relationships, driving revenue growth, coordinating multi-market opportunities, and serving as the primary point of contact for regional and selected national clients.  

The Regional Account Manager works cross-functionally with Territory Managers, Account Managers, Estimating, Operations, and Senior Leadership to ensure consistent execution, client satisfaction, and profitable growth across all assigned markets. 

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management & Business Development 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive regional account plans covering multiple properties, cities, and ownership groups.   
  • Build and strengthen relationships with Regional Managers, Asset Managers, Ownership Groups, and key decision-makers. 
  • Drive increased market share and service penetration within existing accounts. 
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services across client portfolios. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison for regional and portfolio-level client communication. 
  • Coordinate account strategies across territories. 
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management using company CRM systems. 
  • Participate in regional and national industry events to promote company services. 

Regional Revenue Growth & Financial Performance 

  • Achieve defined regional revenue and gross margin targets. 
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and revenue projections. 
  • Identify, prioritize, and secure high-value regional opportunities. 
  • Support pricing strategy and positioning for regional and portfolio-level initiatives. 
  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts to expand regional market share. 

Territory Coordination  

  • Provide strategic direction and support to Account Managers/Territory Managers within the assigned region when required as we expand our key accounts. 
  • Coordinate client engagement strategies across multiple markets. 
  • Assist in resolving escalated client issues. 
  • Ensure consistent service delivery, pricing alignment, and client communication. 

Regional Project Coordination & Oversight 

  • Ensure consistency in scope, pricing, and execution across markets. 
  • Assist with contract strategy, financial expectations, and client alignment. 
  • Participate in regional planning meetings for large capital and renovation projects driven by the client. 
  • Support coordination of regional project wins. 

Regional Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning 

  • Monitor regional market conditions, client trends, and competitive activity. 
  • Identify geographic and client expansion opportunities. 
  • Provide market intelligence and growth recommendations to leadership. 

National & Regional Account Support 

  • Assist in development and expansion of national account relationships. 
  • Support national account rollout across regional markets where requested. 
  • Ensure consistent execution of company standards across client portfolios. 

Development 

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to new and/or existing employees as needed. 
  • Assist in developing sales talent and supporting professional growth. 
  • Promote alignment with company values, systems, and operational standards. 
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions. 

Travel Requirements 

  • Travel within assigned region to support client relationships and business development. 
  • Attend regional and national conferences, client meetings, and company events. 

Performance Expectations 

  • Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline reporting. 
  • Deliver high levels of client satisfaction and retention. 
  • Secure new regional client relationships. 
  • Expand services within existing client portfolios. 
  • Achieve regional revenue and profitability targets.
