Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a proven track record in interior renovation projects for multifamily properties. In this critical role, you will drive the successful completion of interior renovation projects from initiation through final walkthrough. Your focus will be on delivering outstanding results that elevate living environments, enhance property values, and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple interior renovation projects within multifamily communities, ensuring efficient execution and superior quality.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets tailored to interior renovation requirements, with strict adherence to deadlines and financial constraints.
- Work closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate all aspects of the renovation process, including demolition, rebuilds, finish selections, and final staging.
- Conduct frequent site visits to monitor progress, verify craftsmanship, and uphold safety standards, particularly in occupied multifamily settings.
- Manage all documentation for renovation projects, such as contracts, change orders, punch lists, and progress reports.
- Utilize construction management software (preferably JobTread) for real-time tracking and transparent reporting of renovation milestones.
- Communicate proactively with property owners, residents, and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts related to interior renovations, including logistical challenges, schedule changes, and client requests.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Construction Project Manager, specifically focused on interior renovation within the multifamily sector.
- At least 1 year of direct experience managing multifamily interior renovation projects.
- Proficiency with JobTread construction management software is preferred.
- Deep understanding of construction estimating, budgeting, and scheduling for interior renovation projects.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with attention to detail for finish work and resident impact.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, interior design plans, and schematic drawings.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to navigate relationships with property managers, residents, and renovation teams.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to Raleigh NC (required).
