Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in residential or multifamily electrical work, especially troubleshooting and service-based tasks. The position requires the ability to read basic electrical drawings and offers the opportunity to work on EV car charger installations (experience preferred, not required).
This role includes limited travel (up to 25% within a 4-hour radius), occasional overtime, and some after-hours service work.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, service, and maintain residential and multifamily electrical systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Read and interpret low-level electrical drawings and schematics
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components and systems
- Perform EV car charger installations when applicable
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members
- Maintain safety, quality, and professionalism on all job sites
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience in residential or multifamily environments
- Strong troubleshooting and service experience
- Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings
- EV charger installation experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 25% within a 4-hour distance
- Available for occasional overtime and after-hours service work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
