We are seeking a skilled Large Loss Project Manager to join our team. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction sets us apart in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage the renovation process from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Budget Control: Confirm budgets and work orders before the start of projects, and manage production expenses including equipment, vehicles, and other material assets.
- Field Work: Spend significant time in the field to ensure projects are completed properly and to standard.
- Team Management: Build foundational relationships based on trust, actively listen, and manage a team to complete projects successfully. Schedule, coordinate, and oversee crews and resources, including subcontractors.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers. Always follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines.
- Documentation: Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided.
- Vendor Relations: Seek partnerships to improve performance with vendors and tradesmen.
- Communication: Maintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives. Ensure excellent communication and presentation skills are applied throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 3 years of restoration industry experience including budgeting, Xactimate supplements, onboarding of subcontractors, building scopes of work, and the ability to close and secure work authorizations. Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Certifications: IICRC certifications preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency with Xactimate Estimating Platforms, sound planning and organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Travel: Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
- Construction Knowledge: Understand how to effectively manage construction budgets and has experience supervising job sites.
- Emergency Response: Availability for some nights and weekends may be required for emergency calls.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Location: Must located in Charlotte or in the surrounding areas
