This role isn’t for someone who waits for applicants to trickle in. It’s for someone who builds pipelines, energizes teams, and anchors talent into long-term success through structured onboarding and meaningful retention practices.
Your Mission
Build and manage a full-cycle recruitment engine while owning the first 90 days of the employee experience. You’ll be the talent bridge between where we are and where we’re scaling.
What You’ll Do
Recruit Across All Business Lines
- Strategically source high-performing tradespeople, admin staff, and operational leads using creative sourcing, not just job boards.
- Build partnerships with trade schools, veteran networks, and local influencers to tap into passive candidates.
- Lead job intake calls with managers to understand hiring needs by division and location.
- Own the process end-to-end—from job post to offer letter—with a keen eye on urgency, quality, and culture fit.
- Create and manage a real-time talent pipeline dashboard for GMs and the COO.
Lead Onboarding & Integration
- Execute a Day 1 onboarding experience that sets expectations, creates clarity, and ignites loyalty.
- Coordinate department-specific training plans with field and office managers.
- Run “stay interviews” and onboarding check-ins at 30, 60, and 90 days, escalating concerns and tracking trends.
- Maintain hiring KPIs (retention, time-to-fill, first 90-day performance) and present monthly reports to leadership.
Build the Systems
- Create job scorecards, hiring playbooks, and onboarding templates for each division.
- Recommend ATS and onboarding tools that scale with us.
- Help shape how we hire and onboard across new territories—Atlanta, Tampa, and beyond.
What You Bring
- 3+ years in construction/trades recruitment, ideally for a company scaling across multiple locations.
- Obsessed with outcomes: You track success beyond hires—into engagement and retention.
- Grit, resourcefulness, and an instinct for people. You know how to spot both skill and character.
- Experience with job platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, trade-specific boards), CRMs or ATS, and onboarding software.
- Ability to work independently, own your results, and contribute at a leadership level from Day 1.
Compensation & Perks
- Base Salary:
- $65,000 – $80,000/year (DOE)
- Retention Bonus:
- $1,000 for every hire that stays 12 months
- $250 milestone bonus at 90 days for critical roles

Location & Travel
- Remote-friendly OR based in one of our Territory offices
- Occasional travel (2–4 times/year) for hiring events or site visits
